Asp Zarah Book 2 Hausa Novel Complete
He laughed meaningfully before saying.
“Welcome back Zarah, are you going back since you didn't welcome me and got a change of job?”
She slowly turned around and looked at him with disdain and said.
“That's what brought me to congratulate someone who was appointed but someone I found didn't deserve it, hmm, do you want me to congratulate you on your appointment as commissioner in Bauchi and you returning to Gombe in the same position? Is that a step forward?. I came for a small task because seeing you here confirmed to me that you had a hand in the murder of the former commissioner because you wanted to return to where I work. May God give you luck.”
"Wait, you didn't get your message." he said as he stood up on the chair seeing her trying to leave the office, she stopped until she reached where she was standing and handed her a white paper and said.
"This is a letter suspending you from work until the investigation is completed. You have been arrested for two crimes, the first is your alleged involvement in the disappearance of your housemaid who went missing two months ago, and the second is the death of the journalist you had a secret meeting with on Monday who was also killed that night."
She stood there watching him until he finished speaking before she signed and took the letter and said
"As we always do, your Excellency Commissioner.." she finished saying this and signed and tore the letter and said.
"Face me, let's fight him head on. You forgot my condition, I don't see you as a boss, I see you as an enemy, so you don't have the authority to suspend Zarah from work even for a second. If he is brave enough to face me, I'll be fine." With that, she left the office leaving him standing there, looking confused like a fool who saw a woman bathing.
She didn't even stop to answer the greetings when she arrived at their workplace, she went straight to her office because the noise she was making was causing her pain, she threw her head on the table and burst into tears without knowing why.
She stopped crying without wiping the tears that were falling from her eyes, not feeling any signs that her office would be entered without asking permission, only one of the two people was entering or both of them, Saleem or Jidda.
Their hands clasped together and they came into their mouths with the greeting, looking at her face soaked with tears in surprise, Jidda's mind had already woken up and she went to the bed and asked her what was wrong with her.
“It's okay Habibaty, I just have a headache.”
Jidda smiled and smiled before sitting down and Saleem also sat on the chair opposite her, Jidda was silent and looked at her, wanting to find out what was wrong with her before she said.
“You went to the commissioner's office to congratulate him but unfortunately you found Muttaka, the former commissioner of Bauchi state, as the commissioner in Gombe. That's what made you worried. You thought that you would solve the problems that are bothering you. Is that the case or is there a solution?”
She was not surprised to hear about Jiddah because she had just said that, Saleem saw Zarah shaking her head, which made him wonder where Jiddah got this news that they were together but he didn't know.
"Go and cover your face and come and talk." She said.
This time, Zarah's comment made Jiddah laugh because she understood that Jiddah realized that her vagina was full of urine, that's why she said she went and covered her face so that Saleem wouldn't understand the conversation. Without hesitation, she stood up and went to the bathroom attached to the office.
Saleem turned to look at Jiddah and said in surprise.
“Sa-Jid, where did you get the news of what happened after we were together, did someone call you and tell you?”
She was silent for a moment before saying
“I don't know why I don't understand what's going on in Zarah's mind, sometimes I feel like I'm being whispered in her ear accusing her and giving her advice. What makes me even more stubborn is that if we use the advice, we will benefit from it. I also don't understand what that means.”
Saleem nodded his head in satisfaction, further confirming that the love between Jiddah and Zarah is from God, there is no way that either of them can hide their worries without their sister understanding that.
At this point, Zarah came out to join them, they sat down and continued discussing things related to the investigation that Saleem was conducting into the death of the journalist.
