Hajiya Ladi's severe asthma attack had completely cured her, she was so scared that she would die without anyone knowing about her, now she regretted her life and her childhood that she had spent in Kano-to-Jeddah, she started thinking about her parents, are they still alive?

Haj Ladi started to pray for forgiveness from her bed, that night she woke up, and Innar Hauwa woke up, crying and started telling Inna about her origins. She said she was from Billiri village, Billiri in Gombe, she was the daughter of the owner of Billiri at the time, she said what got her out of the house was that they had to get a maid to move to Mecca and they lived in Kano-Jeddah for a while, later they were arrested and dispersed to Nigeria, she took up a profession because she was afraid of prostitution in Kano, due to the Islamic law that was established at that time, she has not been able to return home to this day.

 She said, “If God wills, I will let you rent the shop because you have been faithful to me. We have not been together for long, but I agree with your good character. I want you to continue my business but collect everything I have and take it to my father. Ask for his forgiveness. I will further encourage you to take care of the dignity of your blind daughter in this station’s life. There is a problem, she has a lot of hair and is a prostitute. May God help you take care of her. 

Inna’s body became cold and she said, “Hajiya Ladi, go and ask for your father’s forgiveness. Since you still have strength, illness is not death. Parents are beyond anything and you will never find peace if you do not receive their blessings. Time is not running out for you, Hajiya Ladi.” 

Inna and Hajiya Ladi spoke this two days later. Inna woke up early in the morning to pray and then she realized that Hajj was coming. Ladi did not wake up for the morning prayer as she usually did, thinking that her body was moving her and she was late until the morning of Hajj.  Ladi did not get up, she approached and looked at her, then she realized Hajiya Ladi, she was gone. That is, life was his behavior.

Inna stood tall and Hajiya Ladi's body was taken to her father's house, the house of Maigarin Billiri, and she conveyed Hajiya's will by giving him all her money in her wallet, he put Inna Albaraka in a basket, and asked her where she was from? Because she did not look like the Kano Jiddans, Inna told him that they had come from the Badalar Kano, looking for a shelter for life, as a result of the disappearance of her husband, that is when they met Haj. Ladi was busy with her business, and she helped them when they had no helper but God, she told him that they had become friends. She took away all the help that Haj had given them. Ladi told him, and he said that her blessings and her honor would forgive Ladi in this world and the hereafter. He would help her ask God for forgiveness.

 She told him that Hajiya Ladi had left her food shop to her and told her to continue doing it, she had money, so they would return to Kano, he wished her well and thanked her, after the three donations, Hajiya Ladi moved back to the house she was renting where they were living, since the annual fee was not even half.

Inna took out her savings and cooked food as they usually did during Hajj. Ladi, from that day on, continued to sell food, Hajj was not welcome. Ladi was alive.

They did a lot of business with old Hajj customers. Ladi, every day of Allah's Day, would cook three bowls of rice, and they saved up a lot of money, then Hauwa suggested that they move to a better house, the money they saved would be enough to rent a house since the Hajj money was gone. Ladi ran out, Hauwa said that they should rent a house here in Kurna or somewhere near the Kukan station.

And so it was done. Inna rented a smaller house that was cleaner than the Hajj one.  Ladi, a two-bedroom house with servants and a maid in a corner of the Kurna neighborhood.

Inna's food business is growing, because no one in the village has a better food than theirs, to the point that Inna has hired two workers under her who travel since dawn to prepare food before she arrives. Saude and Hajara are widows, and she wakes them up when it gets light and prays the Walha prayer. She usually finds them ready to eat, then she sits down and starts selling herself.
