The voice of an old woman who was not more than fifty years old filled the room, she was shaking the young man who was twenty-eight years old, lying on the edge of the bed, she kept saying "Are you okay son, open ur eyes, Aliyuuuu open your eyes, What's ur problem..... What kind of dream is this, Fatima" then he opened his eyes in shock and stood up, walking around the room with his chest heaving, at the same time he turned his gaze to his mother who was looking at him, she couldn't even say anything, he lowered his eyes in a cold voice and said "Motherrr...." she grabbed his hand with a clear concern on her face and said "What's ur problem Aliyu? Why did you tell me your problem, are you sick?" He opened his eyes and looked at her, his voice low and he said "Please pray for me, mum... I don't know, I just can't have rest of mind, maybe....." Then he fell silent, tears welled up in his eyes, she said "I am your mother, Aliyu, you have a choice to tell your worries to the whole world except me, tell me where you've gone wrong, what wrong have you done, tell me Aliyu" he wiped the tears from his forehead and gently placed his head on her shoulders and said "Please pray for me, my ummah" she raised her head and said "So you didn't tell me, huh?" He remained silent, looking at her with his big eyes, then he slowly opened them and said "I will continue praying mum, it's not even worth saying please help me...." She stood up again as if to head towards the door, he followed her with his eyes before she slowly left, he said "Ur prayers plss mum..." She didn't hesitate and left, he looked at the clock at two in the morning and stood up calmly and went into the bathroom.
*5years later*
She finished washing the cup and spoon, came out of the kitchen, turned off the electronics in the parlor, took her bag from the chair, slung it over her shoulder, and headed for the door, looking at her wristwatch. She was wearing a long, sea green dress, a small red scarf, and red flat shoes, because she was not tall, her handbag was also red. Her face was bare except for powder and eye pencil, and she had applied a chapette to her lips, but you can't deny that she didn't apply pink lipstick, the pinkness of her lips that held her lips together, she herself said that her lips are Unique, but who cares?? After a while, she pulled open the door and came out holding the key that she had used to lock the door of her apartment. Standing in front of a young man at the door next to her apartment was also his exit, apparently he had locked the door. He was very tall because they were called gentlemen, and despite her height, she looked small next to him. He looked more like an Egyptian or Ethiopian, judging by the color of his skin and the type of his hair. There was a black shadow in his eyes that came out with the length of his nose. His face was as if there was no light. She slowly got down and left him alone. When he finished closing his door, he turned without looking at where he was and went past the parking space. She followed him with a look and couldn't tell if he had forgotten to fasten his seat belt or if he was just ass-down. She opened her mouth and saw that of course he was just ass-down. She lifted her head, filled with sadness that they were in the same compound they had been in. He is the new tenant of the apartment next to hers after her kind neighbor Nancy moved in. Ever since she woke up, she had been praying to God that it wasn't a man who was going to take over the flat, but he was the man. She didn't know until they had to leave for the country for three weeks after their vacation. She returned yesterday evening, feeling unwell, she finally closed the door and went out to get a taxi to take her to school, the University of Cambridge in the country. They left school at two o'clock a few minutes later with their friend Vanessa. They had been together since their first year and were about to enter their third year, with only a few months left. Vanessa had to wait for her friend to get into a taxi after telling him to take her to Bridge Street before waving at her and saying, "See yah pretty." She smiled at her and waved at her from the taxi and said, "Alryt love." By the time they got home, her mind was lost in her thoughts, until the voice of the Indian man driving the taxi brought her back to the world of thoughts she had entered. She came out and handed him his money and went home. She quickly went into her apartment after she opened it, even though she didn't see any sign of him being home because his car wasn't in his garage.
