After a troubling night, Afnan lies weak and in distress. Her older cousin Fadeela is nearby, appearing restless and nervous. A phone call from Zee, Fadeela’s younger sister, interrupts the tense silence. Zee asks about Afnan’s condition and whether she’s been taken to the hospital, but Fadeela avoids giving straight answers, sounding irritated and defensive.
Meanwhile, Afnan slowly regains consciousness. Her face is swollen from crying, and her body feels heavy and sore. When she asks for water, Fadeela brings it to her kindly, but Afnan senses something strange and feels a deep fear and confusion about what happened earlier. She begins to remember fragments of a painful event — something that took away her peace and left her traumatized.
While Fadeela tries to act caring, Afnan realizes that those around her might be hiding dark secrets. She feels broken, wishing for comfort from her late protector Areef, who had always cared for her. Tears fill her eyes again as she prays silently for strength and justice.
